Upskilling women through making upcycled items that support their work from home and reduce textile waste. These multippurpose pouches are made from post consumer textile waste. Women who know basic sewing are engaged in upskilling to produce items that are marketable, usable and have potential to give them a sustained income. This piece is a product of project SWAVLAMB that is currently engaging with clusters in Gujarat on promoting women artisans and upgrading their life skills, not just crafts.
